Saladict Brand and Trademark Guidelines

This document explains how the Saladict source code license relates to the project's names, logo, icons, and other brand assets.

Source Code License

Unless otherwise stated, the source code and documentation in this repository are licensed under the MIT License. See LICENSE.

The MIT License grants permissions for the source code. It does not grant permission to use the Saladict name, the 娌欐媺鏌ヨ瘝 name, logos, application icons, store listing identity, domain names, or other brand assets.

Brand Assets

The Saladict name, the 娌欐媺鏌ヨ瘝 name, logos, icons, and related brand assets are reserved by the project maintainer.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The Saladict product name and the 娌欐媺鏌ヨ瘝 name.
  • The Saladict logo and application icons.
  • Browser extension store listing names, descriptions, screenshots, and other materials that identify an official Saladict release.
  • Domain names, websites, social accounts, or other public identities that may cause people to believe they are operated by or affiliated with Saladict.

Forks and Derived Works

Forks and derived works are welcome under the MIT License. If you publicly distribute a fork or derived product, you should use your own name, icon, and branding.

You may not use the Saladict name, logo, icons, or related brand assets in a way that suggests your project is the official Saladict project, is maintained by the Saladict maintainer, or is authorized, sponsored, endorsed, or otherwise approved by the Saladict maintainer.

You may refer to Saladict for truthful attribution, such as "based on Saladict" or "forked from Saladict", provided the reference is not confusing and is not used as the primary name, icon, domain, store title, or branding of the derived product.

Third-Party Assets

Some files in this repository may refer to third-party names, logos, icons, services, or other marks. Those assets remain the property of their respective owners and are not covered by Saladict brand permissions.
